I'm asking my team to regression test this in our lab - we've seen the same with 4.0.6 (and I've been talking with Polycom about it).

Andrew Mortensen, who has been maintaining this module, left Penn some months ago. Perhaps I can pick up maintenance of this module for him.

Subject: [SR-Users] SCA module - sca_call_info_update() function for 180 responses

Hello all,

I've had proposed a fix to SCA module in the tracker (https://sip-router.org/tracker/index.php?do=details&task_id=446) but didŽt hear anything about it until now.

I would appreciate some comments on that to see if its feasible to be committed or even hear for anyone else using SCA module with Polycom phones to see if they have the same issue described.

Thanks,
João Vitor Arruda

This looks good to me.

Who has access to commit to the repo, or can grant me that access? (Unless Andrew steps out of the shadows and wants to commit it...)

I would trim the patch - remove lines 1075-1077 of sca_call_info.c:

- state = SCA_APPEARANCE_STATE_ALERTING;
- break;
-

and let it fall through to 183's case.

Jorj,

I work on the same team with J. Arruda and we would like to get this bug
fixed. When amortensen was at Penn he was responsive to bug requests but
now he seems to have other responsibilities. It looks like you are
offering to step in for him. Can you officially inquire about picking up
SCA support?

Thanks,
Bob

Hello,

I missed the message saying that Andrew is no longer involved in SCA
module developement. I can grant git commit access to anyone willing to
get over its maintenance.

Cheers,
Daniel
